Father’s Day: Have you remembered FATHER’S DAY which is celebrated on Sunday 19th  June? Purchase a card from our selection to let your Dad know how much he is appreciated.

Shop - For all your purchases of stationery, greeting cards and pocket money toys. please support The Bridge where our volunteers work hard to meet your needs.

Post Office -  Are you struggling to find a gift for a special occasion? A gift card which can be exchanged in many outlets  may be the answer. Please ask Donald, Alison or Fiona for details.

Films - We first started showing films at The Bridge in 2012 usually with two films each month. There is no charge but many film goers give a donation and typically we got an audience of about ten for a film show.

During coronavirus lockdowns, films at The Bridge were suspended and we only resumed film shows at the end of last year. Sadly audiences have been very small since our return and that leaves us with a problem. The Bridge needs an annual licence from Filmbank Media to show films at a cost of £149 and we can only justify the licence fee with a larger audience.

We do not expect to show any more films this year but may try again in 2023. If anyone is interested in watching films please leave your name and e-mail address at The Bridge and we will be pleased to keep you advised.

As always, we thank you for your support - The Bridge is your Post Office, Shop and Community Centre in the centre of the village.
