The Bridge

The year marches on - we are just about to order the Bridge of

Weir calendar for 2024. As always we are very grateful to Duncan McEwan, Honorary President and the members of The Paisley Colour Photographic Club for producing the picturesque images. We anticipate the calendar will be on sale from the beginning of October.

Shop - TOYS, TOYS, TOYS. Do you know that The Bridge stocks a variety of inexpensive small toys useful as gifts for birthday or other occasions for the wee ones. Also colouring and dot to dot books, paints, chalks, playing cards - Snap and so on.  All this in addition to our stock of greetings cards, gift and bottle bags, wrapping paper and a variety of stationery items.

The Bridge shop is wholly manned by volunteers to generate income to subsidise the Post Office.

Please use The Bridge Shop as often as you can, otherwise we risk losing the Post Office facility in

Bridge of Weir.

Hearing Aid Batteries continue to be available on the

production of the appropriate user card. Please ask the volunteer

on duty to assist. The Hearing Aid Clinic is back on the last Friday of the month 11am -12.45pm

for advice and minor servicing.

Our Gardens - we appreciate the time and talent of the members of Brighter Bridge of Weir in

keeping our front garden looking colourful.

Do you enjoy working in the open air? Why not help in the Community Garden behind the Bridge.

Please contact Janet Birch via the volunteers for details.

Support - As always, we thank you for your support - The Bridge is your Post Office, Shop and

Community Centre in the centre

of the village.
